Steadfast. Immovable (Part XI) is the eleventh of an 11 part series of poems I wrote in 2010 during a time of transition. Transition has always been hard for me, but this situation, I really experienced God shepherding my heart as I left one role and move onto another. He did a lot of shifting on the heart level for me. These poems celebrate how constant and strong He is in the midst of life's uncertainty. (1 Corinthians 15.58)
adore. the foundation that molds all life
adore. the revealing light, which even darkness cannot hide
adore. the unspeakable weight and heaviness, a love that lasts forever
adore. the person that embraces every spirit of man and woman
adore. the devotion and endurance of this love
adore. the wisdom by which he dresses and undresses all
adore. the way in which he does all things
adore. the unity of these in Jesus Christ steadfast. immovable.
