Steadfast. Immovable (Part X) is the tenth of an 11 part series of poems I wrote in 2010 during a time of transition. Transition has always been hard for me, but this situation, I really experienced God shepherding my heart as I left one role and move onto another. He did a lot of shifting on the heart level for me. These poems celebrate how constant and strong He is in the midst of life's uncertainty. (1 Corinthians 15.58)
Christ steadfast. immovable.
i swear i'm addicted to Your perfection
i can be completely human
my full-mess,
my whole-imperfection,
because You’re heaven’s joy
unshakable light
a powerful vibrado
is your necessary immanence with me
mind shattering moments draped
in silence so lound it pushes
through every thought, emotion,
fear or hope to constance,
eternity, Your skin in mine
through mine, over me,
Your eternal terrifying presence, oh my God!
can i take it? No.
it is my joy to die
my hope accomplished inside
through Your perfect satisfaction
Your own tri-union
Jesus, Jesus, how i love Thee
how i’ve proved you o’re and o’re
Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus…
