Long standing my heart has endured its days

But never has it felt such separation as this

Lord God is this how You ache? Let Your love flood

The broken parts, into the cracks, into the rotting wood,

Would you fill the deep hole that I dug for her in my heart.

I waited patiently for the Lord

The Lord is near to the broken hearted,

And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous,

But the Lord delivers them out of them all.
