All things wane.
The bones of life
Covered with flesh
Still hold death underneath;
All things wane.
Like a melody of song must end,
Like a broken record chipped and bent
In the sun:
All things wane.
Many moss-made mouths met merely to
Mock and murder and misuse, misunderstood,
Mainly muttering and mourning many
Mistakes, many many mistakes, mark;
All things wane.
Marking still, pens
Writ of men (and women too!)
Who’ve changed and change still;
All things wane: all things wane.
Pulse quickening. Breathe!
(all things wane.)
Breath beating. Breathe!
(all things wane.)
Lungs screaming. Breathe!
(all things wane.)
Flashfloodfurrowedforcefellow
Fallfirmfoundationalfit
Veins swelling. Breathe!
(all things wane!)
Nose bleeding. Breathe!
(all things wane!)
Hand squeezing. Breathe!
(all things wane!)
(all things wane!)
(all things wane!)
Ancient archs unparalled
March horizon spotted red
A black pupil sun spot
Blind to the untamed eye
Unparalled obnoxious in consistency
Sharing and shattered
Rarely found full again,
Obtuse obscure obilisic
Again, I say,
All things wane.
