YHWH, My Father (II)
when shall i see Your face? when will i look You in the eye? certainly, i have fled so many times (You know i cannot hide). words will not be enough the twisting Spirit freely gives thoughts that pour my spirit through a sieve, oh, dearest, let my motion be among those who’ve served You deep and long. if we hold our fleeting hearts, bring love back again. if we wait among the crowd, let Your voice speak within. when the silly questions enter, how tenderly You understand. yes do, let’s, be, hold, when, oh, dearest, when? i sit before Your throne, and did i wander here? i sit before You asking and thinking ear to ear, “whom do i have but You? and who do i desire like You? my heart and flesh may fail, but You are enough always enough.”
