allegory: intentions bare,
signals sounding

screaming, 
"find me!"
or "connect me!"--
sweet understanding.

emotionality. security.
surrender's the only place I'm found
and i'm a metaphor for failure and fix-it-all,
God's own showing:
living is my redemption
and my smile will stab death in the back.
