between the raindrops
between the raindrops resonating in the showering silence the voice of the heavens releasing, increasing, soaking, quiet in keeping e'ry little molecule together heavy, pounding earth, sounding until dirt is flooded full of liquid beloved. baptize our natural vision 'til our eyes, filtered through each drop, no longer worry about right 'n wrong but weatherstorms raining, wind and soul, spirit and sound, collapsing together, now, and whether we do a thing (or not), this no longer matters here in the soaking, sopping wet souls, flooded vessels, with spoiled hearts and spoiled clothes, laughing under the storms God is sending (who will wonder and laugh, when heaven is rending?)
